A reader e-mailed me to tell me about a great fundraising competition. One of her friends is raising money to adopt two Russian girls who have Down Syndrome. That is awesome!
If you are interested, the contest is accepting submissions for original art, poetry, and quilting that incorporate the theme “Where Love Resides.”
For more information about this great cause, go to the Where Love Resides blog. I know there are lots of talented people out there! The submission fees go towards raising funds to adopt these girls.
